[1:1 Lesson Update] Propose a lesson time to your tutor (+ VIP tier launch)

📢 Starting Thursday, October 8 at 3 PM, the VIP tier and lesson time proposals are now available.

Hello, this is the Ringle Customer Experience team.

"I'd love to take a lesson with this tutor, but they don't have any open slots when I'm available."

So that you can still learn with the tutor you want, we've added a new lesson time proposal feature.

We're also launching a VIP tier for members who have been learning with Ringle consistently!

📅 Lesson Time Proposals

Even if the tutor's schedule isn't open at the time you want, you can propose a lesson time yourself.

1. Tap the 'Propose a Lesson Time' button on the tutor's profile.
2. Select and propose up to 5 time slots that work for you.
3. Once the tutor accepts one of your proposed times, the lesson is confirmed.

Tip. After your first lesson, try booking your next one through a private schedule. It's a great way to keep learning with the tutor you like.

📌 Please note

Lesson time proposals

• Available to VIP members who have lesson credits available.
• You can only propose times at least 48 hours from now.
• If the tutor does not accept within 24 hours, the proposal expires.
• Depending on the tutor's schedule, your proposal may not be accepted.
• If the lesson is not confirmed, no lesson credit will be deducted.

👑 Introducing the VIP Tier

1. How to become a VIP

Meet just one of the conditions below and the VIP tier is applied automatically.

VIP status is renewed every month. If anything changes, we'll let you know one month in advance via KakaoTalk (or SMS).

You can find detailed conditions for earning and keeping VIP status on the [VIP Tier page].

2. VIP-exclusive benefits

VIP members enjoy the following two benefits.

• Priority tutor booking: Among a tutor's newly opened slots, you can book lessons 7+ days out 24 hours before other members. Book lessons with your favorite tutors with more room to spare.
• If you already have priority tutor booking from an existing long-term package benefit, it will carry over as a VIP benefit.
• Lesson time proposals: Request a lesson with a tutor at the time that works for you.

📌 Please note

VIP tier

• VIP status is applied immediately once you meet any one of the 3 conditions.
• VIP status is reviewed on the morning of the 1st of every month.
• If you became a VIP through consistent lessons, you keep it as long as you have 26+ weeks of lessons over the past 12 months and at least 1 lesson every month.
• If you became a VIP through lesson credit purchases, VIP status is guaranteed until the last day of the 12th month after the month you qualified.
• If you hold VIP-benefit credits, you remain a VIP for as long as you hold them.
• If lesson credits are refunded or revoked, your VIP conditions will be re-checked.
• Even if your VIP status expires, you become a VIP again as soon as you meet the conditions.

📅 Effective date

• The VIP tier and benefits take effect on Thursday, October 8, 2026.
• If you already meet the VIP conditions, the VIP tier is applied automatically with no need to apply.
• You can check your current VIP tier and progress on My Page.
• All dates and times are based on your account's time zone.
